Product Overview

Polyethylene Oxide MW 7,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is premium-grade ultra-high molecular weight PEO developed for mineral flocculation. Medium molecular weight PEO cannot form large and stable flocs; excessively high molecular weight variants cause overly viscous solution and difficult stirring. This 7M grade balances particle bridging capacity, solution fluidity and settling efficiency.
After dissolving and dosing into mineral slurry, polymer chains produce bridging effect between tiny clay and mineral particles. Compact flocs are formed to achieve rapid sedimentation, facilitating slurry concentration and wastewater recycling in mineral processing plants.

Usage Guidance

Gradually disperse PEO powder into continuously stirred water to avoid agglomeration and fish-eye particles. Prepare dilute stock solution before adding to mineral slurry. Usual dosing concentration range: 0.005%~0.05%. Optimize dosage based on slurry concentration, particle fineness and required settling speed. Carry out jar test to confirm optimal usage before formal production.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid moisture absorption, high temperature and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper sealed storage.
