PEO 7M CAS 25322-68-3 Denture Adhesive Binder for Oral Care Products

Polyethylene Oxide MW 7,000,000 (PEO 7M, CAS 25322-68-3) is linear ultra-high molecular weight water-soluble polyether polymer suitable for oral contact applications. Incorporated into denture adhesive formulas, hydrated polymer networks provide durable adhesion between dentures and gum tissue. It optimizes product spreadability and avoids excessive flow. The material features mild properties with low irritation to oral mucosa, which makes it an essential functional binder for denture adhesives

Product Overview

Polyethylene Oxide MW 7,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is high purity ultra-high molecular weight PEO tailored for oral care raw materials. Low molecular weight PEO fails to offer lasting bonding performance; overhigh molecular weight variants cause poor dispersion and difficult processing. This 7M grade balances adhesive performance, rheological control and production processability.
When mixed with humectants and other raw materials, PEO forms uniform adhesive matrix. It maintains stable bonding effect under moist oral environment and enhances the comfortable texture of denture adhesive products.

Key Features

  1. Molecular Weight: 7,000,000, CAS 25322-68-3, white free-flowing fine powder
  2. Excellent binding property for denture adhesive cream and gel systems
  3. Maintain stable adhesion in humid oral environment, prolong bonding time
  4. Optimize rheology, improve spreadability and prevent product flowing
  5. Low irritation to oral mucosa, good biocompatibility
  6. Good compatibility with glycerin, carboxymethyl cellulose and other oral raw materials
  7. Adjustable viscosity and adhesion strength through formula modification

Main Applications

  • Core binder for denture adhesive cream and denture fixing gel
  • Thickening and film-forming polymer for oral moisturizing gel
  • Functional additive for dental care auxiliary preparations
  • Water soluble rheology modifier for food-contact oral products

Usage Guidance

Dry blend PEO powder evenly with polyols and other excipients, slowly add purified water under continuous stirring to avoid agglomeration. Adjust dosage according to target viscosity and adhesive strength. Complete stability test, sensory evaluation and adhesion test before mass manufacturing. Avoid excessive heating during processing to prevent molecular degradation.

Storage & Package

Hermetically sealed packaging. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Protect from moisture, high temperature and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper sealed storage.

Service Support

Test samples available for oral care formula development. Stable bulk supply. We provide TDS, COA and technical guidance for formulation. Welcome to inquire factory quotation.
