Product Overview

Polyethylene Oxide MW 600,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is high viscosity water-soluble PEO specially developed for dry-mix construction mortar industry. Compared with medium molecular weight PEO, this 600k grade provides stronger thickening capacity and superior water retention effect at low dosage. Uniformly dispersed in mortar system, the long polymer chains wrap inorganic particles to improve system stability. It brings smooth troweling performance, inhibits rapid water loss, extends construction open time, and enhances the bonding performance of mortar on base substrates. It shows good compatibility with cement, quartz sand, HPMC, starch ether and other conventional mortar additives.

Usage Guidance

Slowly disperse PEO powder into continuously stirred clean water to avoid agglomeration, prepare dilute aqueous solution in advance. Or directly mix uniformly with other dry powder raw materials. Typical dosage: 0.01% ~0.08% based on total dry mortar weight. Adjust dosage according to mortar formula and construction requirements. Carry out small batch mixing test before mass formal production.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid moisture absorption and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage.
