Product Overview

Polyethylene Oxide MW 4,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is ultra-high molecular weight PEO specially developed for coal washing industry. Medium molecular weight PEO cannot form stable large flocs for ultra-fine coal slime; excessively high molecular weight polymer may cause overly viscous supernatant and hinder continuous separation. This 4M grade balances flocculation strength and solution fluidity. After dissolution, polymer chains adsorb fine suspended particles and connect them into compact settleable flocs. It accelerates solid-liquid separation in thickener, increases the recycling rate of washing water and reduces pollutant discharge from coal preparation plants.

Usage Guidance

Slowly disperse PEO powder into continuously stirred clean water to avoid agglomeration, prepare 0.05% ~ 0.1% dilute aqueous solution. Add evenly into the inlet pipeline of thickener. Typical dosage: 80 ~ 350g per ton dry slime. Optimize dosage according to coal slurry concentration and lab settlement test. Conduct pilot test before formal operation on site.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid moisture absorption and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage.
