Product Overview

Polyethylene Oxide MW 4,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is ultra-high molecular weight PEO developed for water-soluble packaging industry. Low molecular weight PEO results in insufficient film tensile strength, while overhigh molecular weight polymer leads to excessive solution viscosity and poor processing performance. This 4M grade balances film-forming capacity, mechanical properties and processing convenience.

After complete dissolution in water, the homogeneous solution can be processed via casting to produce transparent water-soluble membrane. The film has excellent tensile property and puncture resistance, which can encapsulate solid and liquid goods safely. The packaging material dissolves completely in water after use, effectively reducing plastic pollution.

Usage Guidance

Gradually disperse PEO powder into low-temperature stirring water to prevent agglomeration. Prepare uniform aqueous solution before casting film forming. Conduct tensile test and water dissolution test to confirm optimal processing parameters before mass production.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Prevent moisture absorption, high temperature and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper sealed storage.
