Polyethylene Oxide MW 300,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is specially developed medium molecular weight PEO for papermaking industry. Low molecular weight PEO shows insufficient flocculation capacity, while ultra-high molecular weight grades easily cause excessive floc and uneven paper formation. This 300k grade achieves balanced retention effect and floc size control. It forms polymer bridges between pulp particles, intercepting fine fibers and fillers on wire section. It helps enterprises reduce raw material consumption, increase machine speed and relieve wastewater treatment pressure.

Usage Guidance

Slowly scatter PEO powder into continuously stirred water to prevent agglomeration, prepare 0.05%~0.2% dilute solution. Add the aqueous solution before pulp enters the headbox. Recommended dosage: 50~300ppm based on absolute dry pulp weight. Adjust dosage according to pulp type, filler dosage and target retention rate. Complete on-machine small trial before large-scale application.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid moisture absorption and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage.
