PEO MW 100k (CAS 25322-68-3) is linear nonionic water-soluble polyether polymer. Dissolved in water to make environment-friendly water-based release agent. During rubber compression and vulcanization, it creates a thin separating layer between mold and rubber blank to achieve stable demolding effect. After molding, the polymer decomposes cleanly, hardly contaminates rubber surface. It is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional oil-based release agents for molded rubber processing.

Product Overview

PEO MW 100k Polyethylene Oxide (CAS 25322-68-3) is functional water-soluble polymer tailored for rubber vulcanization molding industry. Traditional silicone release agents often lead to poor coating and bonding performance of finished rubber. Oil-based release agents generate heavy smoke and stubborn mold deposits. This PEO grade is used to produce water-based release liquid. After water evaporation, a thin uniform polymer film covers mold surface to deliver reliable anti-sticking performance. After high-temperature molding, the polymer decomposes completely, leaving minimal residues. It greatly lowers the risk of surface defects and improves the reworkability of rubber products.

Usage Guidance

Slowly add PEO powder into continuously stirred deionized water to avoid agglomeration, stir until fully dissolved. Usual working concentration ranges from 0.5% to 3.0%. Spray evenly on cleaned mold surfaces and wait for complete water evaporation before feeding rubber materials. Small batch molding tests are required to confirm release effect and surface quality before mass production.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid moisture absorption and long-term direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage.
