PEO 300k Polyethylene Oxide (CAS 25322-68-3) is medium molecular weight water-soluble polymer developed for industrial wastewater treatment. Low molecular weight PEO lacks sufficient bridging capacity, while ultra-high molecular weight varieties easily lead to excessive viscosity and difficult stirring. This 300k grade balances flocculation performance and solution fluidity. It links tiny suspended particles via molecular chain bridging, promoting floc formation, improving settling efficiency and lowering SS value of outlet water. It can be used alone or compounded with inorganic coagulants such as PAC for advanced wastewater purification.

Usage Guidance

Slowly add PEO powder into continuously agitated clean water to prevent agglomeration, prepare 0.05%~0.1% dilute solution. Add solution to wastewater stirring tank and maintain moderate stirring. Typical dosage: 20~200ppm, adjusted according to wastewater turbidity and pollutant concentration. Beaker flocculation tests are required to confirm optimal dosage before on-site application.

Storage & Package

Keep packages tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid moisture absorption and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage.
