Product Overview

Polyethylene Oxide MW 2,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is ultra-high molecular weight PEO specially developed for papermaking wet-end treatment. Medium molecular weight PEO lacks sufficient flocculation capacity for micro-fibers; excessively high molecular weight polymer tends to cause over-flocculation and uneven paper formation. This 2M grade achieves balanced flocculation effect and solution rheology. After dissolving in white water, long polymer chains adsorb on fiber surfaces and connect fine particles into loose micro flocs. It promotes sheet dewatering, reduces vacuum load of paper machine, lowers raw material consumption and improves surface smoothness of finished paper.

Usage Guidance

Slowly disperse PEO powder into continuously stirred clean water to avoid agglomeration, prepare 0.05% dilute solution. Add evenly before pulp inlet of headbox. Typical dosage: 50~250 g per ton absolute dry pulp. Adjust dosage according to pulp type, beating degree and target paper quality. Complete lab retention test before machine trial.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid moisture absorption and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage.
