Product Overview

Polyethylene Oxide MW 1,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is ultra-high molecular weight PEO specially developed for dry-mix cementitious building materials. Medium molecular weight PEO shows insufficient water retention capacity under high temperature construction environment, while excessive high molecular polymer may lead to abnormal viscosity increase. This 1M grade balances water retention, anti-slip property and workability. When mixed in tile adhesive, long polymer chains form continuous hydration film to slow water migration to substrate and air. It extends usable construction time, reduces vertical tile sliding, and promotes sufficient cement hydration to guarantee final bonding strength.

Usage Guidance

Can be dry blended evenly with other powder raw materials in advance. Slow dissolution in mixing water is also available. Typical dosage: 0.01% ~ 0.06% of total dry mortar weight. Adjust dosage according to construction temperature, tile size and formula system. Carry out anti-slip, open time and strength testing before formal production.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid moisture absorption and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage.
