Product Overview

Polyethylene Oxide MW 1,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is ultra-high molecular weight water-soluble PEO specially developed for mineral processing industry. Medium molecular weight PEO lacks sufficient bridging capacity for ultra-fine mineral particles; excessive high molecular weight grades easily lead to over-high slurry viscosity and poor fluidity. This 1M grade balances flocculation performance and solution rheology. The polymer adsorbs on fine mineral surfaces to build molecular bridges, gathering tiny suspended particles into stable flocs. It reduces fine particle entrainment during flotation, improves concentrate grade, accelerates tailings sedimentation and dewatering, and lowers suspended solid content in recycled mine water.

Usage Guidance

Slowly disperse PEO powder into continuously stirred clean water to prevent agglomeration, prepare 0.05%~0.1% dilute solution before adding into mineral pulp. Typical dosage: 30~200 g per ton dry ore. Adjust dosage according to particle fineness, pulp concentration and flotation test results. Complete laboratory sedimentation and flotation tests before on-site application.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid moisture absorption and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage.
