Product Overview
Polyethylene Oxide MW 600,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is high-viscosity water-soluble PEO specially engineered for nonwoven industry. Medium molecular weight PEO cannot provide enough fiber binding force; ultra-high molecular weight PEO causes excessively high slurry viscosity and uneven web formation. This 600k grade achieves perfect balance between viscosity and bonding performance. When mixed with fiber suspension, the long polymer chains interconnect scattered fibers to increase fabric tenacity and resist shrinkage. As a water-soluble temporary binder, it can be washed off completely in subsequent water washing procedures, avoiding residual marks on finished nonwovens, which meets strict cleanliness requirements of medical and disposable wipe products.

Main Applications
- Temporary binder for wet-laid nonwoven fabric, spunlace nonwoven materials
- Fiber bonding additive for disposable cleaning wipes and medical nonwoven products
- Processing auxiliary for filter nonwoven and special industrial textile materials
- Water-soluble binder for laboratory filter paper manufacturing
Usage Guidance
Gradually disperse PEO powder into continuously stirred deionized water to prevent agglomeration, prepare dilute solution before adding into fiber slurry. Recommended dosage: 0.2% ~1.5% based on fiber mass. Adjust dosage according to fabric grammage and target strength. Conduct small wet forming trial before mass production.
