Product Overview

Polyethylene Oxide MW 7,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is high purity ultra-high molecular weight PEO customized for solid lithium battery electrolyte research and manufacturing. Medium molecular weight PEO cannot form stable continuous conductive network; excessively high molecular weight grades cause poor melt fluidity and difficult film processing. This 7M grade balances ionic conduction performance, mechanical strength and thermal processability.
After compounding with lithium salt and auxiliary additives, uniform solid electrolyte membrane can be manufactured. The polymer matrix isolates positive and negative electrodes while enabling lithium ion migration, helping batteries achieve higher safety without liquid electrolyte leakage risk.

Usage Guidance

Dry PEO powder thoroughly before material preparation to eliminate moisture. Uniformly blend with lithium salt, ceramic fillers under inert atmosphere. Prepare electrolyte membrane via solution casting or hot pressing process. Conduct ionic conductivity test, electrochemical stability test and cell cycling evaluation. Strictly avoid water and air contamination during production.

Storage & Package

Hermetic sealed packaging. Store in constant low humidity dry warehouse, isolated from moisture, oxygen and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg moisture-proof aluminum foil lined kraft bag. Shelf life: 12 months under sealed dry storage.
