Polyethylene Oxide 600000 (PEO 600k, CAS 25322-68-3) is linear high molecular weight polyether polymer with excellent water solubility. In washing systems, hydrated polymer chains wrap suspended dirt contaminants and form isolation layers. It inhibits redeposition of pigment, dust and oily soils onto fabric surfaces during rinsing and washing cycles, keeping fabrics brighter and reducing graying. It is a multifunctional auxiliary widely used in various household and industrial detergent formulas

Polyethylene Oxide MW 600,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is high-viscosity PEO tailored for detergent industry. Medium molecular weight PEO has limited suspension capacity, while ultra-high molecular weight PEO easily causes excessive viscosity and stringy texture. This 600k grade achieves balanced rheology and anti-redeposition performance. After dissolving in aqueous detergent solution, polymer chains provide steric stabilization for soil particles. It prevents re-deposition of particulate dirt on cotton, polyester and blended fabrics. Meanwhile, it brings moderate thickening effect and improves the texture of liquid detergents.

Usage Guidance
Slowly add PEO powder into continuously stirred deionized water to avoid agglomeration, stir until fully dissolved, then incorporate into detergent formulas.
