Polyethylene Oxide MW 5,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is pharma-grade ultra-high molecular weight PEO specially developed for medical wound care materials. Lower molecular weight PEO cannot maintain long-term stable gel structure; extra-high molecular weight grades cause poor dissolution and difficult processing. This 5M grade achieves balanced performance of liquid absorption, gel stability and manufacturing operability.Once fully hydrated, the polymer forms flexible hydrophilic gel, continuously absorbing excess wound exudate. It avoids wound surface dry crusting and reduces secondary injury during dressing replacement.

Usage Guidance
