Polyethylene Oxide MW 5,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is ultra-high molecular weight PEO specially developed for pipeline transportation industry. Medium molecular weight PEO cannot achieve ideal drag reduction efficiency under high turbulent flow; extra-high molecular weight variants easily lead to poor solubility and blockage risks. This 5M grade balances dissolution speed, drag reduction efficiency and solution fluidity.
Once fully hydrated in liquid, polymer chains weaken turbulent fluctuation and friction along pipe walls. Under the same pumping pressure, the fluid flow capacity can be significantly improved, realizing energy saving and transportation capacity upgrading.

Usage Guidance

Slowly disperse PEO powder into continuously stirred water to prevent agglomeration and fish-eye formation. Prepare dilute aqueous solution on site. Usual working concentration: 0.008% ~ 0.03%. Adjust dosage based on pipeline diameter, flow velocity and water quality. Avoid over-concentration to prevent filter clogging. Conduct laboratory drag reduction test before large-scale application.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid moisture absorption, high temperature and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper sealed storage.
