Product Overview

Polyethylene Oxide MW 4,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is high molecular weight PEO customized for 3D printing consumable industry. Low molecular weight PEO leads to insufficient binding force and poor filament toughness; ultra-high molecular weight PEO results in excessive melt viscosity and difficult extrusion. This 4M grade balances binding strength, melt processing property and water dissolution performance.
When blended with functional fillers and extruded into filaments, PEO forms continuous polymer network to maintain structural integrity during FDM printing. After forming, users only need to soak the workpiece in water to dissolve support parts, realizing non-destructive separation of support and prototype.

Usage Guidance

Dry blend PEO powder with fillers, plasticizers and other additives uniformly, then carry out twin-screw extrusion for filament production. Adjust plasticizer dosage and extrusion temperature according to target filament hardness and dissolution speed. Conduct extrusion test, printing test and water dissolution evaluation before mass production. Avoid overheating during processing to prevent polymer molecular chain degradation.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid moisture absorption, high temperature and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft paper bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper sealed storage.
