Polyethylene Oxide MW 10,000,000 (CAS 25322-68-3) is ultra-high molecular weight PEO developed for tertiary oil recovery. Conventional polymer cannot achieve ideal mobility control; ultra-high molecular weight alternatives easily suffer shear degradation and poor dissolution. This 10M grade balances thickening efficiency, shear resistance and on-site operability.
After dissolution and injection into underground formations, the viscous flooding fluid evenly pushes crude oil towards production wells. It mitigates preferential water flow along high-permeability zones and effectively lifts oil recovery factor.

Usage Guidance

Slowly disperse PEO powder into gently stirred water to prevent agglomeration and fish-eye particles. Prepare mother solution before injection. Conduct indoor viscosity testing, static adsorption and core flooding evaluation to confirm optimal concentration. Avoid long-time high-shear stirring to prevent molecular chain rupture.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, protect from moisture, high temperature and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper sealed storage.
