Product DetailsDPGDB appears as a clear, slightly viscous pale‑yellow oily liquid. Its aromatic benzoate molecular structure provides strong solvency for polar prepolymer components within polyurethane formulations. Different from conventional PVC plasticizers, this benzoate plasticizer is specially developed for polyurethane‑based systems. It effectively lowers initial mixture viscosity, facilitating pouring, dispensing and extrusion operations for sealant and casting production.

Controlled influence on polyurethane curing reaction is a critical performance feature. When properly dosed in 2K PU sealant, it will not excessively retard cross‑linking. It helps to adjust shore hardness, improve elongation and reduce brittleness of the fully cured sealant layer. For castable polyurethane, DPGDB reduces compound viscosity before pouring, supporting bubble release during casting, and improves surface quality of finished cast PU components.

This non‑phthalate plasticizer can be blended with other compatible benzoate plasticizers to fine‑tune system viscosity and final mechanical properties. Formulators must strictly control the loading dosage, as excessive addition will decrease tensile strength and heat‑resistance of cured polyurethane materials. It is suitable for industrial two‑component polyurethane sealants used in construction and assembly, as well as low‑hardness castable polyurethane elastomer parts.

Since polyurethane curing is sensitive to moisture, DPGDB should be kept with low water content for PU compounding. Store in tightly sealed steel drums inside cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Prevent moisture ingression. Avoid prolonged exposure to high‑temperature storage environment. Wear protective gloves and safety goggles during liquid transferring and handling. Prevent spillage.
