JSYA-ZNO antibacterial zinc oxide is inorganic metal oxide powder, CAS 1314-13-2. Fine zinc oxide particles produce reactive oxygen species to destroy the cell structure of bacteria and mold spores. Compared with silver antimicrobials, ZnO features superior cost performance, no yellowing risk and good weather resistance. The white fine powder disperses evenly inside rubber and polymer matrix. It not only provides anti-mildew and antibacterial effects, but also improves crosslinking efficiency during rubber vulcanization.

Applications

JSYA-ZNO zinc oxide anti-mildew powder is specially developed for rubber and polymer compound. For rubber compound: Mixed with natural rubber, SBR, NBR, EPDM during rubber mixing process. It acts as vulcanization activator while resisting mold and bacteria growth, ideal for rubber sheets, rubber tubes, sealing gaskets and elastomer parts used in humid environments. For polymer compound: Blended with PP, PE, PVC and other thermoplastics in twin-screw extrusion. It is used for antibacterial composite materials, functional plastic elastomer components. The additive remains stable under common processing temperature. The loading dosage can be adjusted to meet different anti-mildew and antibacterial test requirements.
