Product DetailsThis water‑washed kaolin clay is manufactured by rigorous wet beneficiation processes, removing quartz, mica and other heavy mineral impurities from raw kaolin ore. Fractional particle classification ensures consistent fineness and avoids over‑coarse grit particles which would scratch printed surfaces or damage coating film smoothness. Without additional chemical surface modification, the product retains the inherent lamellar crystal structure of kaolin. The lamellar particle morphology provides physical thickening and anti‑settling effects inside liquid ink and coating slurry, slowing down sedimentation of heavy pigments during storage.

It shows stable oil‑absorption performance and favorable whiteness with low trace heavy‑metal content. When incorporated into printing ink systems, it improves ink body consistency, adjusts ink viscosity, boosts abrasion resistance of printed layers and restricts excessive ink penetration into paper substrate. For industrial coatings, this kaolin extender enhances scratch resistance and hardness of cured coating film, improves sagging resistance of wet paint, and partially replaces expensive titanium dioxide to achieve effective cost control.

It is compatible with solvent‑based printing inks, offset printing inks, gravure inks, architectural water‑borne coatings, industrial primer and middle‑coat formulations. The product is not suitable for scenarios requiring high hydrophobicity.

Packed in 25 kg moisture‑proof woven bags. Keep packages tightly sealed during transportation and warehouse storage. Store in cool, dry indoor warehouse, prevent moisture absorption, damp caking and direct sunlight. Avoid excessive high stacking height on pallets to prevent bag breakage. In operation, wear appropriate dust‑proof protection to reduce inhalation of fine mineral powder.
