Product DetailsThis calcined kaolin clay is produced through controlled high‑temperature calcination at specified temperature ranges followed by ultrafine milling and particle‑size classification. The calcination process permanently removes constitutional water, converting hydrated kaolin into anhydrous aluminosilicate powder. Compared with water‑washed kaolin, it features remarkably reduced water absorption, improved thermal stability and better chemical resistance against acidic and alkaline media.

The product exhibits high brightness and consistent narrow particle‑size distribution with low grit and heavy‑metal impurities. Its special platelet‑shaped particle structure delivers prominent opacifying and light‑scattering capability inside coating systems. When used in industrial coatings and primer formulations, it improves film hardness, scrub resistance and anti‑corrosion performance, serving as an effective TiO₂ extender to cut overall raw‑material costs.

Within plastic and engineering polymer systems, calcined kaolin functions as reinforcing mineral filler. It increases flexural modulus, improves dimensional stability, restricts thermal shrinkage and reduces creep deformation of finished plastic components. For wire and cable insulation compounds including PVC, EVA and EPDM systems, low residual moisture and excellent dielectric property significantly boost volume resistivity and dielectric strength of insulating layers, suppressing water‑induced insulation degradation during long‑term cable service.

It is suitable for solvent‑based coatings, water‑borne industrial paints, powder coatings, rigid and flexible plastics, as well as insulation formulations for low‑and‑medium‑voltage wire and cable. This grade is for industrial application only, not intended for food or pharmaceutical contact.

Packaging adopts 25 kg moisture‑proof woven bags with inner polyethylene liner. Keep packages well sealed during transportation. Store the powder in cool, dry indoor warehouse, strictly avoiding dampness and moisture absorption. Do not stack pallets at excessive height to prevent bag rupture and powder caking. Wear suitable dust‑proof masks and protective gloves during material handling.
