Polyethylene Oxide CAS 25322-68-3 is a high molecular weight nonionic water-soluble polymer developed as multifunctional strength agent for kraft paper and packaging paperboard. Conventional dry strength agents may be affected by anionic trash in pulp. This PEO grade adheres evenly onto cellulose fibers and forms cross-linked networks between fibers, significantly improving paper physical indexes. Besides reinforcing performance, it brings auxiliary retention and drainage effects, helping paper mills boost product quality and optimize production cost for packaging paper materials.

Usage Guidance
Gradually disperse PEO powder under gentle continuous stirring to avoid agglomeration and fish-eye particles. Prepare dilute aqueous solution and add into pulp flow before headbox. Carry out laboratory strength testing to confirm optimal dosage. Avoid prolonged high-shear stirring, which will break molecular chains and weaken reinforcing effect.
Storage & Package
Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Prevent moisture absorption, high temperature and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under properly sealed storage.
