Product Overview

500cst Polyether Silicone Oil (CAS 68937-54-2) is hydrophilic polyether modified silicone wetting agent specially developed for water-based architectural coating systems. Optimized molecular structure achieves balanced surface activity and water compatibility. During construction, it rapidly migrates to liquid and substrate interface, improving substrate wettability and solving crawling and shrinkage problems easily occurred on porous wall substrates.

Usage Guidance

Recommended dosage: 0.1%–0.6% based on total formula weight. Add during grinding or mixing stage under stirring. Complete small-scale tests on wetting effect, foam property and water resistance before mass production. Excessive addition may lead to persistent foam.

Storage & Package

Seal drums tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid freezing and high temperature exposure. Standard package: 200kg iron drum. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage conditions.
