Polyethylene Oxide CAS 25322-68-3 is high molecular weight drag reduction polymer developed for crude oil aqueous mixed pipeline transportation. During crude oil water-mixed delivery, turbulent flow brings huge friction loss and limits pipeline throughput. This PEO grade works in continuous water phase to weaken turbulence intensity. It decreases pressure drop along pipelines, improves transport efficiency and reduces long-distance transportation operating costs for oil producers.

Usage Guidance

Slowly disperse PEO powder under gentle stirring to avoid agglomeration and fish-eye particles. Prepare dilute aqueous mother liquor and inject continuously into pipeline front section. Carry out laboratory drag reduction testing to confirm optimal dosage. Avoid long-time high-shear circulation, which breaks polymer molecular chains and weakens drag reduction efficiency.

Storage & Package

Seal packages tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Prevent moisture absorption, high temperature and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under properly sealed storage.
