Polyethylene Oxide CAS 25322-68-3 is high purity water-soluble thermoplastic polymer designed for powder injection molding binder systems. Traditional binder formulas often suffer poor powder wettability, fragile green parts or heavy carbon residue after sintering. This PEO grade offers balanced rheology, excellent powder compatibility and clean debinding performance. It supports water-based solvent debinding process, lowers production hazard and reduces part defects for precision MIM & CIM component manufacturers.

Usage Guidance

Blend PEO with backbone polymer, wax and dispersant according to binder formula. Conduct twin-screw compounding together with metal/ceramic powder under controlled temperature. Avoid excessive processing shear to prevent polymer chain degradation. Optimize debinding temperature and immersion time based on part thickness. Complete small-scale trial production before mass manufacturing.

Storage & Package

Seal tightly. Store in cool, dry, dust-free warehouse, prevent moisture absorption, overheating and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg kraft bag with inner PE liner. Shelf life: 12 months under proper sealed storage.
