Nano Aluminum Hydroxide (Nano ATH, CAS 21645-51-2) is high-purity halogen-free inorganic flame retardant prepared by special nanocrystallization and surface modification technology. It releases crystal water during thermal decomposition to absorb heat, dilute combustible gas and suppress smoke generation. With small primary particle size and good compatibility with polymers, it effectively reduces the negative impact on mechanical properties of substrates. It is an environmentally friendly flame retardant widely adopted for wire and cable insulating and sheath materials.

Application Scope
Nano Aluminum Hydroxide is mainly used in low smoke halogen free wire and cable materials, including EVA cable compounds, PE insulation materials, TPE elastomer cables, control cables, power cables, charging pile cables and communication cables. It can also be compounded with other phosphorus-based flame retardants to optimize flame retardant performance and processing fluidity.
Usage Guide
Add Nano ATH during twin-screw extrusion compounding stage. Use appropriate dispersant to avoid agglomeration. Adjust loading level according to target flame retardant grade (UL94, IEC cable standards). Surface-modified type is recommended for high filling formulations. Conduct pilot compounding test before mass production. Keep sealed storage to prevent moisture absorption.
