Product DetailsThis surface‑modified dolomite powder is manufactured by selecting high‑grade dolomite ore. Raw ore undergoes coarse crushing, fine milling and multi‑stage air classification to remove grit and coarse particles. Subsequent surface modification treatment is carried out to adjust the surface property of mineral particles.

Unmodified dolomite powder has hydrophilic surface. When directly added into PVC matrix, poor interfacial compatibility may cause insufficient dispersion, increased melt viscosity, and surface speckles on finished PVC goods. The surface‑modification procedure reduces water absorption of dolomite particles and improves wettability with PVC resin. During high‑speed mixing and extrusion, modified dolomite disperses evenly within the PVC compound.

The product has stable chemical composition, low heavy‑metal impurities and consistent fineness. Incorporated into rigid‑PVC systems, it effectively enhances flexural modulus and hardness of finished products, improves dimensional stability and reduces thermal expansion. As an economical mineral filler, partial replacement of ground calcium carbonate and titanium dioxide helps manufacturers cut overall formulation costs.

Nevertheless, dolomite contains magnesium‑carbonate components, so thermal decomposition temperature is relatively lower compared with pure calcite. Strict control of loading dosage and processing temperature is required during PVC compounding to avoid decomposition‑related defects.

It is suitable for rigid PVC profiles, PVC sewer pipes, injection‑molded PVC fittings, PVC panel and decorative extruded parts. It is mainly applied in non‑transparent rigid PVC formulations.

Packaging is 25 kg moisture‑proof woven bags with inner polyethylene liner. Keep the packaging tightly sealed during transportation and storage. Store in cool, dry warehouse to prevent moisture absorption and caking. Avoid excessive stacking height on pallets to prevent bag rupture. Wear dust‑proof masks and protective gloves during powder handling.
