DOP (Dioctyl Phthalate / DEHP), chemically named Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, is the most widely used general-purpose phthalate plasticizer. It is a clear, colorless, low-volatility oily liquid with excellent compatibility with PVC resins, imparting high flexibility, good processability and durable low-temperature performance to end products. DOP is the baseline plasticizer against which all other general-purpose plasticizers are measured.
