Waterborne Cobalt Neodecanoate 7% Co belongs to water‑compatible cobalt neodecanoate primary drier (CAS 27253‑31‑2) developed for water‑reducible alkyd coating systems. Conventional solvent‑borne cobalt driers are difficult to disperse in aqueous environment and easy to hydrolyze and lose activity in water‑reducible alkyd formulas. This product adopts branched‑chain neodecanoate ligand, provides excellent water emulsifying property and anti‑hydrolysis stability. It effectively catalyzes surface oxidation reaction of unsaturated alkyd chains. As primary drier, it cannot work independently and must cooperate with matched auxiliary driers to enhance inner‑layer curing, final hardness and closed‑can anti‑skinning performance. It features good compatibility with various water‑reducible long‑oil and medium‑oil alkyd resins, maintains stable batch‑to‑batch quality.
