Product Overview

50000cst Vinyl Silicone Oil (CAS 68083-19-2) is refined linear divinyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane with ultra-high viscosity. This vinyl silicone fluid is specially manufactured for optical-grade high transparency liquid silicone rubber. Strict purification reduces ionic impurities and chromogenic contaminants. Terminal vinyl groups can fully react with methyl hydrogen silicone oil without small molecule by-products. It has outstanding compatibility with high transparency fumed silica, enabling production of crystal clear silicone elastomers for optical and high-end application scenarios.

Usage Guidance

Mix uniformly with high-transparency fumed silica, matched methyl hydrogen silicone oil crosslinker and platinum catalyst. Tune formula ratios to control hardness, mechanical indicators and curing speed. Avoid contact with sulfur, amines, tin compounds and heavy metals to prevent catalyst poisoning and incomplete curing.

Storage & Package

Keep drums tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Avoid long-term exposure to high temperature, UV radiation and direct sunlight. Standard package: 25kg plastic drum, 200kg iron drum. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage conditions.
