Universal Plastic Toughener, Core-Shell/POE-g-MAH/Elastomer Blend for PP PE PC ABS PA Alloy
This universal plastic toughener is compounded from core-shell copolymer, POE-g-MAH and elastomer blend, supplied as free-flowing pellets or powder. It provides excellent impact modification and compatibilization effect for multiple polymer matrices. It absorbs impact energy and suppresses crack propagation, greatly improving low-temperature toughness without severe loss of rigidity. It is widely applied in PP, PE, PC, ABS and PA alloy compounding.
Product Detail PageChemical IdentityThe toughener combines three functional components: core-shell impact modifier, maleic anhydride grafted polyolefin elastomer POE-g-MAH and other thermoplastic elastomers. POE-g-MAH serves as reactive compatibilizer for polar and non-polar polymers. Core-shell particles offer stable impact resistance. The elastomer blend optimizes dispersion and flexibility. It can be dry-blended or twin-screw extruded with PP, PE, PC, ABS, PA and their alloys under conventional processing temperature.
Key PerformanceIt significantly enhances impact strength, especially low-temperature impact toughness. POE-g-MAH improves interfacial bonding between immiscible polymers in alloy systems. Core-shell structure delivers stable toughening effect under thermal cycling. The blended formula reduces shrinkage and warpage of molded parts. It maintains good processing flowability and surface quality of finished plastic products. It works for both single resin and multi-component polymer alloys.

Storage & HandlingStore the toughener pellets or powder in sealed original bags inside cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Recommended storage temperature 10-30℃. Avoid direct sunlight, high humidity and moisture. Prevent static during material transfer. Reseal bags tightly once opened. Do not stack pallets excessively high to avoid pellet deformation or powder caking.
