RDP Flame Retardant JSYA-RDP is high purity resorcinol bis(diphenyl phosphate) (RDP), CAS 57583-54-7, available as white fine powder. It is a halogen-free aromatic phosphate ester flame retardant tailored for amorphous engineering plastics including polycarbonate, PC/ABS blends and PPO alloys.

When formulated into PC, PC/ABS or PPO resin systems, JSYA-RDP functions in both condensed and gas phase. Upon exposure to flame, it promotes the formation of a dense protective char layer on the polyme
