Product DetailsThis titanate‑modified pyrophyllite powder is produced from selected natural pyrophyllite ore. Raw mineral undergoes coarse crushing, fine pulverization and repeated air classification to remove grit and non‑target mineral impurities. Dry surface modification with titanate coupling agent is then implemented to treat the surface of fine mineral particles.

Unmodified pyrophyllite powder exhibits hydrophilic surface characteristics. When directly incorporated into rubber or plastic systems, poor compatibility with organic polymer easily triggers particle agglomeration, uneven mixing and surface blemishes on finished goods. Titanate modification changes the surface property from hydrophilic to organophilic. It improves powder free‑flow performance and strengthens interfacial bonding between pyrophyllite particles and polymer macromolecules during mixing, extrusion and injection molding.

Benefiting from its special lamellar crystal morphology, modified pyrophyllite provides internal lubricating effect inside rubber‑plastic compounds. It reduces melt viscosity during processing, lowers friction against processing equipment, shortens mixing cycle and improves extrusion flow rate. As a reinforcing mineral filler, it enhances hardness, flexural modulus and dimensional stability of molded parts, restricts thermal shrinkage. Meanwhile, it maintains appropriate elasticity for rubber compounds without causing excessive hardening. The product features low iron content, stable chemical inertness and consistent particle‑size distribution.

It is suitable for a wide range of thermoplastics including PP, PE, PVC, as well as natural rubber, SBR, NBR and EPDM synthetic rubber. Typical applications include rubber hoses, rubber rollers, sealing gaskets, plastic extruded profiles, injection‑molded plastic components and functional filler masterbatches.

Packaging is 25 kg moisture‑proof woven bags with inner polyethylene liner. Keep packages tightly sealed during transportation and warehouse storage. Store in cool, dry indoor warehouse to prevent moisture absorption and powder caking. Avoid excessive stacking height on pallets to prevent bag rupture. Wear dust‑proof masks and protective gloves during powder‑handling operations.
