Product Overview

OH Terminated PDMS is hydroxyl‑terminated polydimethylsiloxane base polymer, CAS 70131‑67‑8. This condensation‑cure PDMS is optimized for RTV‑2 resin casting molds. Hydroxyl value and viscosity are strictly controlled batch‑by‑batch. When combined with reinforcing fillers and curing system, it forms elastic silicone rubber with good anti‑swelling performance for epoxy, PU and polyester resin. Stable raw material quality supports mass production of resin‑casting flexible molds.

Processing Suggestions

Carry out feeding, kneading and mixing under fully moisture‑free workshop conditions. Incorporate reinforcing silica fillers, silane cross‑linking agent and organotin catalyst according to mold formula. Adjust filler loading to reach target hardness and tear strength. Prevent moisture ingress throughout production process to avoid incomplete curing and sticky surface defects.

Storage & Packing

Packed in sealed 200kg iron drum. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Keep drum tightly sealed. Avoid humidity, high temperature and direct sunlight. Reseal drum immediately after partial material discharge. Proper storage preserves polymer reactivity and ensures valid shelf‑life.
