500cst C16-C18 Long Chain Alkyl Silicone (CAS 68554-54-1) adopts C16-C18 long-chain alkyl graft modification on silicone backbone. Long alkyl segments greatly improve miscibility with mineral oil and non-polar hydrocarbon media. It can uniformly disperse in oil systems and provide lasting defoaming and foam inhibiting capability without stratification. 500cst C16-C18 Long Chain Alkyl Silicone is specially designed modified silicone fluid for oil-phase defoamer formulation. Conventional dimethyl silicone oil is insoluble in mineral oil and easy to separate out, limiting its application in oil-based systems. With C16-C18 long alkyl side chains, this product realizes good compatibility with various mineral base oils. It rapidly breaks foam and inhibits new foam generation inside oil medium, keeping transparent appearance of finished oil formulations.

Storage & Package

Seal iron drums tightly. Store in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct sunlight and long-time high temperature storage. Standard package: 200kg iron drum. Shelf life: 12 months under proper storage.
