JSYA-CUO Cupric Oxide Antibacterial Agent is inorganic copper oxide powder with CAS 1317-38-0. It is widely used as biocide for ship hull antifouling coating and outdoor protective paint. Slow-released copper ions suppress barnacles, algae and mildew growth on coating surface. The product can be incorporated into various paint formulations to protect substrates under seawater and humid outdoor conditions.

JSYA-CUO is fine black inorganic cupric oxide powder. When contacting moisture or seawater, it gradually releases copper ions to inhibit microbial adhesion and mildew reproduction. It features stable chemical property, outstanding water resistance and weather resistance, and maintains good stability during paint grinding and curing process.
