Calcium sulfate whisker (anhydrous gypsum whisker) is a fibrous inorganic crystal filler. After stearate surface coating treatment, its surface property is converted from hydrophilic to hydrophobic. It exhibits excellent compatibility with polyolefin and engineering plastic resin systems. This product is designed to reinforce plastic substrates, enhance abrasion resistance, reduce shrinkage and lower material cost for plastic compounds.

Product Detail Page: Anhydrous calcium sulfate whisker features a complete fibrous crystal structure with high aspect ratio. The stearate coating eliminates the moisture‑sensitive defect of raw gypsum whisker, restricts moisture absorption during compounding and storage, and significantly improves interfacial bonding between inorganic whisker and polymer matrix.

During plastic extrusion and injection molding processing, the fibrous whiskers form a supporting network inside the plastic matrix. It effectively raises tensile strength, flexural modulus and impact resistance of plastic products. Meanwhile, it delivers outstanding anti‑abrasion performance, which extends the service life of plastic components under friction conditions.

This filler helps to decrease molding shrinkage and warpage of molded plastic articles, realizing better dimensional accuracy for finished parts. Compared with conventional mineral fillers, it provides reinforcing effect without severe abrasion to production processing equipment.

It is suitable for PP, PE, PA, PBT and other thermoplastic systems, widely used for modified engineering plastics, injection‑molded structural plastic parts, anti‑wear plastic components and plastic profile compounds.

Strict particle and fiber‑length control ensures stable dispersion within polymer melts. Proper dispersion avoids fiber agglomeration which may cause surface defects on plastic finished goods.

For storage, keep the product sealed in dry and cool warehouse environment, prevent moisture and direct sunlight. Standard 25‑kg multi‑layer paper bag packaging is adopted for industrial bulk supply.
