Calcium Neodecanoate 5% Ca CAS 27253‑33‑4 belongs to neodecanoate‑series metal carboxylate auxiliary drier for oxidative alkyd coating systems. It cannot realize curing independently and must be compounded with cobalt‑manganese primary drier combinations. Titanium dioxide and other inorganic pigments tend to adsorb main driers and trigger loss‑of‑dry phenomenon. This product is preferentially absorbed by solid particles to preserve catalytic activity of cobalt and manganese. Neodecanoate raw material greatly suppresses heat‑aging yellowing tendency of light‑color paint films. It dissolves well in dearomatized aliphatic solvents and various alkyd resins, maintains stable storage performance in finished paints.
