Calcined Nano Diatomite CAS 61790-53-2 Thermal Insulation Mortar Lightweight Filler
Product Overview
Calcined Nano Diatomite (CAS 61790-53-2) is manufactured from natural diatomaceous earth via high-temperature calcination, purification and nano ultrafine grinding. High-temperature treatment removes organic impurities and stabilizes the pore structure. The material features low bulk density, outstanding thermal resistance and sound insulation performance. As an eco-friendly lightweight inorganic filler, it can effectively reduce mortar weight and improve thermal insulation effect, widely applied in all kinds of building thermal insulation mortar systems.
Core Features
- Low Bulk Density: Effectively lower the overall density of thermal insulation mortar, reduce building load.
- Stable Porous Structure: Closed and semi-closed micropores provide excellent heat insulation and thermal resistance.
- High Temperature Resistance: Processed by calcination, stable performance under high temperature, no deformation.
- Good Workability: Optimize mortar construction performance, reduce cracking and shrinkage.
- Inorganic & Durable: Inert mineral material, anti-aging, long service life without aging failure.
- Good Compatibility: Well compatible with cement, gypsum and other mortar base raw materials.
Product Specifications

Application Scope
Calcined nano diatomite serves as key lightweight filler for building thermal insulation materials. Mainly used in exterior wall thermal insulation mortar, interior thermal insulation mortar, heat preservation putty, fireproof insulation coatings, sound-absorbing mortar and other inorganic thermal insulation systems. It can be mixed with cement, fly ash, cellulose ether and other additives to prepare lightweight energy-saving building materials.
Usage Guide
Add calcined nano diatomite together with aggregate during dry powder mixing stage. Uniform mixing is required to avoid local agglomeration. Adjust dosage according to required density and thermal conductivity of finished mortar. Seal storage to prevent moisture absorption which may affect dry powder fluidity. Conduct small batch formulation tests before mass production.
Packaging & Storage
Packaging: 25kg inner plastic woven bag, customized packaging acceptable
Storage: Keep sealed in cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, avoid damp environment
Shelf Life: 12 months under original sealed storage
Our Advantages
Our calcined nano diatomite adopts controlled high-temperature calcination technology with stable pore structure and consistent bulk density between batches. Compared with uncalcined diatomite, it has lower water absorption and better volume stability. Particle fineness can be customized for different mortar formulas. Factory direct supply ensures stable stock and fast delivery. Free sample testing and mortar formulation technical support are available for building materials manufacturers.
