Basic Calcium Octoate 10% Ca CAS 136‑51‑6 is high‑concentration basic metal carboxylate auxiliary drier for oxidative alkyd coating systems. It cannot realize curing effect independently and must cooperate with cobalt‑manganese primary drier combinations. For highly filled alkyd formulas with high loading of talc, calcium carbonate and other mineral fillers, solid particles are easy to aggregate and settle. This product optimizes interfacial wetting between resin and solid particles, suppresses flocculation and sedimentation. Meanwhile it participates in oxidative cross‑linking to stabilize overall curing system.
