JSYA-BIT BIT Antimicrobial Preservative is benzisothiazolinone biocide with CAS 2634-33-5. It is a widely used waterborne in-can preservative for water-based coatings and adhesive systems. This product inhibits the growth of bacteria, yeast and fungi inside sealed product containers during storage and transportation. It prevents spoilage, odor and viscosity change caused by microbial contamination. Compatible with most waterborne formulations and offers stable protection in a broad pH range.

Product Details

JSYA-BIT is light yellow transparent liquid. The active ingredient benzisothiazolinone disrupts microbial cell metabolism to stop reproduction of spoilage microbes. It does not release formaldehyde, has good compatibility with acrylic emulsions, latex coatings and water-based adhesives. It maintains biocidal activity under normal storage temperature of waterborne products.
